Hello friends! I’m so excited to guest post today for Melissa. On my own blog, Casa de Crews, you’ll generally find savory everyday meals, or party food for the masses (I come from a big family, and I love any excuse to make a new party bite!), but I knew for friends of Melissa Creates, I’d just have to share a sweet treat. I’m not much of a baker, so when I do bake, I need uncomplicated, but festive desserts (like Melissa’s Tim Tam Cake – O.M.G. every time I see the photos, I want to make that cake!)
Enter 4-ingredient Chocolate Candy Cookies! These are very similar to my Candy Cane Cookies, except they’re made with Holiday M&M’s! These are so insanely delish, and I love that they’re ready to go in under 15 minutes.
These easy cookies are made with boxed Devil’s food cake mix, eggs, and olive oil. The olive oil makes these extra moist. You could also sub in vegetable oil, instead. The first batch I made, I mixed in my candies and formed balls of cookie dough. They tasted SO good, but didn’t have that wow factor for presentation (we made these for our annual holiday party over the weekend). So the second
and third batch, I still mixed in candies, but then topped each dough ball with 2-3 more candies, so that they’d bake in on top, and look extra festive.
These are perfect for a cookie exchange, office potluck, a quick treat for your kiddo’s class, or just because you really like chocolate. And M&M’s. And cookies.
Come visit me anytime at Casa de Crews!
