There’s some big football thing happening this Sunday. I’ve heard a few people really get into it.
In all seriousness my household will be watching the big game this Sunday and the team we’re rooting for I’ll keep secret so the fans don’t go wild. wink
In honor of football’s greatest day of the year, I’m sharing details on how to create a SWEET Super Bowl party display and recipes that are a must. Grab all the sweet goodness below and be sure to pin a few things to reference too!
Candy on candy on candy. I’ll take some of that and that, please! Welcome super bowl party guests with a variety of sweets on display. A table spread filled with sweet treats makes entertaining guests a walk in the park. You can’t help but smile when you walk by a pretty and colorful dessert table. A few sweet favorites include Skittles, Starburst Original, Peanut M&M’S, Snickers Original Fun Size and Snickers Peanut Butter Fun Size.
Because I know you love simple dessert recipes I’m tossing one your way before we dive into a must try no bake pie.
When Skittles met white chocolate it was a match made in sweets heaven. To whip up this Skittles bark you’ll only need white chocolate chips and Skittles.
Preheat oven to 250.
Place wax paper on a cookie sheet and place white chocolate chips in the center.
Bake for 3 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread melted white chocolate on the wax paper using a spatula.
Sprinkle Skittles over the melted chocolate.
Place in the freezer for 30-45 minutes or until hard.
Break apart and serve!
Serving a fancy sip is possible during Super Bowl Sunday. Using Starburst, create drink stirrers by attaching them to food safe sticks. For my Super Bowl party I’ll be serving a sparkling lemonade. I will let my guests know they can put their Starburst stirrers directly into their drinks to add a fun flavoring. How cool is that!?
Shopping at Target is the bee’s knees. Before heading to the store to stock up on all these sweets and recipe ingredients be sure to check out the latest Cartwheel offers. If I were you I would also make a visit to TargetYourSweetTooth.com before you begin prepping for your sweet soiree. You’ll find a direct link to the latest Cartwheel offers, a variety of recipes and super bowl party table displays that are sure to inspire.
Add a little pizzaz to your sweet Super Bowl party dessert table by creating a DIY football goal post for your no bake Snickers pie (recipe below). Creating a goal post banner is super easy. Using paper straws, a mini banner and glue gun is all it takes to create a pie centerpiece. If you can’t get your hands on a mini banner twine will do the trick too! When you’re in Target, visit the party decor section and keep an eye out for a variety of banners.
This dessert topper will be the show stopper at your super bowl bash.
