Y’all. I am so pumped to share today’s blog post! Each year I chat about Friendsgiving and how fabulous it is. You can spot my Friendsgiving hosting tips and ideas here. Hosting Friendsgiving is the best! Thanksgiving dinner is one of the best meals of the year and having that meal twice, once with family then with your besties is as good as it gets. I miss hosting Friendsgiving, but I enjoy being an attendee each year. I hope to pick up being the hostess with the mostess next year.
This year I got to team up with a fabulous group of creatives to showcase a fancy Friendsgiving dinner party. How fun is that! Each contributed a recipe, decor or another super talented trade to create a stunning styled display. If this doesn’t get you in the Friendsgiving planning mood I’m not sure what will! Be sure to hop around to each blog listed below to bookmark the recipes and talented ladies involved. These gals should be on your must follow list.

Dessert is my favorite part of the meal so much so that sometimes I eat it first. You have to make sure there’s room for dessert, right? This bundt cake was sooo good. I made two, one to taste test and one for the styled table display. I used brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon in the recipe (adapted by Martha Stewart) which gave it that rich deep color. The taste and smell reminds me of the holidays. While the nutmeg is optional I think its use is vital to keeping with the holiday theme.
Nichole of Casa de Crews put together this fabulous styled display and so graciously offered to cut the cake and show it off. I brought Lincoln with me to this styled shoot (a 2 hour drive) and he wasn’t interested in me leaving his side so I didn’t get to be in the photos. I’ll take being a part of something so fabulous while holding a baby in the background any day! Hugs to Nichole for putting this together and making sure my friendsgiving cake looked so fancy.
