Summer is coming to end. As much as I’m ready for fall I’m sad to see summer go. We still have a handful of weekends remaining for backyard festivities, gatherings in the park and ladies meet ups. Meeting my favorites at the local lake and park is the perfect way to spend these last few warm weekends.
Wine paired with melt in your mouth summer inspired lemon sugar cookies is a summer-y win! Grab the recipe and my end of summer entertaining tips below.
Summer on the go entertaining is such fun. From the sweets to the drinks arriving in style can be done easily. Think outside of traditional food transporting items and go for a colorful fun option. Treat bags are one of my favorite on the go entertaining items. Treat bags come in a variety of colors, they are perfect for handing out individual treats with and they add a little extra pizzaz unlike traditional bags and closed containers.
Fancy sugar cookies to go? Yes, please!

Cookies and wine? That’s my kind of entertaining! I love the addition of the lemon zest on the cookies – I’m sure that really complements the wine! #client
