Happy December! While October is my favorite month of the year, December is my favorite blog month. I get to share Holiday decor, recipes, DIY projects and all things Holidays with you for 30 days… it’s wonderful, right?
Your Starbucks lovin’ gal is coming at you with a twist on a traditional seasonal sip, hot coca. We all know how I feel about coffee, all I need to survive is coffee and water. During the winter months I add hot cocoa to the mix, it’s ideal on our cold front days. Salted caramel has always been a fave of mine so Starbucks salted caramel hot cocoa is a must have in our home. I’m also an eggnog fan but sadly have dairy sensitives. This year I picked up some Lactaid eggnog and decided to pour some into my salted caramel hot cocoa, obviously it was so good I had to share. Eggnog and hot cocoa, a combo I’ll commit to.
If you’re hosting a Holiday party this year make sure to add this hot cocoa to the drink menu! My husband isn’t an eggnog fan and took a sip before I disclosed the ingredients, he liked it, he liked it a lot.
Starbucks Salted Caramel Eggnog Hot Cocoa Combo
Mix one packet of Starbucks salted caramel hot cocoa with 1/3 cup of eggnog.
Add desired amount of milk (or water) to your coffee cup. I filled my cup with water, the eggnog was enough of a sweetener for my liking.
Heat, mix and enjoy.
I know there is many ways to mix and heat hot cocoa. Use your regular routine just simply add 1/3 cup of eggnog to the mix. I used Lactaid eggnog due to dairy sensitives. For my lactose intolerant friends, you’re welcome.
