A few short weeks ago I had the opportunity to partner with Tiny Prints! It was an honor (and lots of fun) showcasing a unique themed display based on one of my favorite Tiny Prints Holiday cards.
This Florida girl always celebrates Christmas lakeside. We live off a small lake and I grew up by the largest lake in Florida so lakeside is the norm. I also hear of many who travel to the lake (or beach) to celebrate the Holidays, my sister lives up north and I know they appreciate warmer climates during the Holiday season. To add some festive decor to a slightly warmer setting, I created this Lakeside Christmas Celebration with Tiny Prints!
This is my favorite photo and the perfect spot to sip hot coca, enjoy the view and spend time with your favorite people during the most wonderful time of the year. Jessica, editor of Everyday Party Magazine, sent homemade vanilla and bourbon marshmallows for our lakeside fun, they were delicious! Homemade is the best, always.
Our lakeside Christmas celebration called for a few collaborations and I was thrilled to showcase Katie K Franklin and her amazing pinatas! It was fun using pinatas in a non traditional way. The pinatas served as a stand for the lantern, represented Christmas gifts and fun Holiday decorations. Make sure to check out her shop, you can’t go wrong with shiny decor.
Here is the card that inspired my lakeside soiree, the Festive Arrow card by Tiny Prints. How cute is this card?!? I already have my Christmas cards but next year I have big plans to create something very Florida-ish. Have you ordered your Holiday cards yet? If not you have just a few short days to place your order to ensure you have cards to mail and hand out!
As always, it was a delight teaming up with Melinda Tomasello. One of these days I’ll take video of the two of us working together, you’ll hear tons of laughter. Of course we had to get a photo of me enjoying hot cocoa and showing off messy lakeside hair, wink wink.
If you live lakeside or will be spending Christmas entertaining guests lakeside, don’t forget to celebrate your way! Make sure to visit the Tiny Prints blog for more details on this shoot and more Holiday inspiration.
